Sibling rivalry in present and past life

Continued from the earlier account on client’s past lifetime which had the common theme of abandonment by family members. In the first past life, she was a child beggar in India. In the second past life, she was a child prostitute in Russia. In the third past life, she was left behind in a park as a toddler by her jealous elder sister and in her teenage years, was drowned by the same sister. It explains her current life feelings of insecurity, feeling unloved and fear of abandonment.

“I’m on a grassy field. There are many yellow flowers. It is a sunny day. I’m searching for someone. The grass is tall. I just keep walking.”

“I’m a little girl…. white skinned with braided hair. I look like a rich girl and wearing a nice white dress. I wear knee-length socks. I’m three years old.”

“I pass by a small house. It looks like a barn. I just keep on walking. I’m on the street already.”

I moved client backwards in time to an earlier time in that life to find out what happened.

“I’m in a playground. My elder sister brought me there. She is 12 years old.
 She left me there.”

“My mother is at home, a 10 minute walk away”.

“I’m looking for my family members. I didn’t feel scared, I just kept on walking. I see cars passing by and walked past some trees. I’m running now. I’m on the street, looking for my way back home.”

“I come to an apartment door. My mother comes and greet me. I found my way home.”

“My sister intentionally left me at the park. She disliked me. She was jealous of me. Her face was not happy when saw me back home. She felt that my mother loved me more than her.”

“She’s not happy that my mother is hugging me. My sister is staring at me with hate. She is in a white dress.”

“She is hostile. I feel like she will do it again. She went back to her room.”

Next scene:
I’m in the water, I’m drowning. I fell from a boat. Someone pushed me. I'm in a lake."

I moved client backwards a little to find out what happened.

“I’m sixteen years old. I’m in a boat with my sister. She shook the boat and make me accidentally fall into the lake.”

“She hated me. I’m drowning and she is doing nothing.”

Me: “Why did she hate you?”

Client: “It was because of something related to a man……We loved the same man. She got jealous. In many areas, she wanted to be the champion, but I overshadowed her.

Current life connection
“I recognise her as my current life eldest sister. She made my siblings dislike me and she got jealous when I got married to a good man and moved on to a happy life. She only loved to hear my sad stories.”

Past lifetime of being sold and forced into child prostitution

Client found the reason for her feelings of insecurity, feeling unloved and fear of abandonment. She regressed to 3 past lives which had the common theme of abandonment by family members. In the first past life, she was a boy who was abandoned by his parents and became a child beggar in India. In this past lifetime, she was sold off by her parents into a sex trafficking ring in Russia, in the 1920's.

“I am walking through a corridor. It is long and dark. The wall is reddish brown and dark in colour. There are many rooms there. Many doors are closed. I’m in front of a door. I open the door. I can see a bed. The room is nice and clean. There’s nobody inside.”

Next scene:
“I’m sitting on the bed. A man walks in. I’m a prostitute. I’m servicing the man. I’m white skinned. I have straight long blonde hair. I’m a Russian girl. I’m just 16 years old.”

“There’s a club which organises a party. I’m working there. In the party there were many girls and men. The men are all in a suit….but most girls are young same age as me, 16 years old.”

“The year is 1920. I was sold to a club owner. My parents had sold me when I was 8 years old and I have been working there since I was 8 years old. My parents are gamblers. They needed the money, that’s why they sold me there. They did not bother about me, they are happy when they see money. The club owner is a man with beard. He looks like a rich man around fifty years old.”

“I have my own income, but I’m not rich. I live in a hostel with other girls around the same age as me. The room has many double decker beds. There are more than 10 of us in the room. We were locked up there and could not escape. I feel like I cannot control my life. I feel lost.”

“The room looks like a cage. It looks a prison. There are metal bars. That’s where we stay. I feel that this is my home already. I felt that I had no choice but to accept it.”

“I’m just playing with my hair. It’s my rest day. I’m in the room only. I can’t go out. I’m on my own bed. There are walls but there are also metal bars. There is a toilet inside the room. The ceiling is high. It looks like a prison. The window is also high. We couldn’t even reach the window.”

“Inside the building, it is bright. There are many lights. There are many rooms for all the girls. It is a big scale operation. It’s in Russia. I can see the words, but I can’t read them.”

Next scene:
“The police came. They put me into a lockup. They took other girls as well. I’m alone in a lockup.”

Sibling rivalry in present and past life

Past life as a child beggar in India

Client found the reason for her feelings of insecurity, unhappiness, feeling unloved and fear of abandonment. She regressed to 3 past lives which had the common theme of being abandoned by family members. The first past life that she regressed to was in India.

“Insecurity and fear of abandonment is often related to past life memories of literal abandonment: being orphaned, sold into slavery, left out to die in times of famine, separated from loved ones during a crisis or a war, etc”. - Roger Woolger (“Other Lives, Other Selves”, 1987)

“I’m at a very long road. There’s an empty land beside the road. It is at night. There are palm trees along the road, making it look scary. There is no light. I can’t see anything. I am barefoot. I’m wearing dirty clothes. I’m male, six years old.”

Me: “Where did you come from?”

Client: “From my house -- A wooden house. Looks like a Kampung (village) house with attap roof. I came to look for food. I’m a beggar. I have no parents. I just beg for money or food from people.”

“I’m in front of a row of shoplots. There are many people there. I’m sitting there begging for money, I'm very dirty.”

Me: “Which country are you in?”

Client: “I’m in India. But my skin is not dark. I look like a Chinese or mixed. I had brown hair and brown skin.”

I moved client to an earlier time in that life to find out what happened.

“I’m at home with my parents. My parents are not Asians. I feel loved. I’m happy. I’m two years old. I wear nice clothes and looked rich. I have a nice house. I lived in Hong Kong. It is a bungalow, single storey, with a big landscaped garden in front of the house. The gate is black. I am playing around in the garden. I’m the only child in the family. I had no sisters or brothers.”

“My parents looked sad. Something happened to them…….Something about their business. There was some problem with my father's business. They are busy packing. They look nervous. They need to run away. Something happened to the business. They lost quite a lot of money. They owed people money. They are busy packing. They plan to leave by boat.”

Next scene
“They are on a ferry. I’m waving at them. I’m not with them. They send me to another couple. My parents are waving at me. They didn’t tell me anything. They look happy.”

“The couple are two old ladies. They are church sisters…white ladies. I’m wearing a jumpsuit with white colour t-shirt and black shoes. I’m with the sister. That sister brings me back to the church. There’s an orphanage inside the church."

"I got adopted by a dark skinned couple. They are a young couple. They are my new parents. I’m brought to a house with Asian decoration and wooden furniture. They are not poor. It is a big house. The new mother, looks serious. The father looks ok.”

“I felt that I had no freedom in that house. There were a lot of restrictions. There were many children there. I was given a role. My duty is to get money for the family. I was trained to become a beggar. Other children were trained to beg as well.”

“All we had to do was to sit there. My new mother said, because I looked cute, people will give me money. I just needed to sit on the floor. Then, I just pass the money to my new parents. I don't get anything. I don't get enough food also. That’s why I go out to look for food.”

“I just walk back to the road lined with palm trees. I am walking along the road. I am looking for food. I’m hungry. I’m tired. I didn’t miss my parents. I just want food. I just walk out to look for food from other families. If I am lucky, they will give me some food.”

"I didn’t manage to get food. But I don’t feel sad. I am still singing while I’m walking. The road is so dark. It’s midnight. I can’t even see what’s in front. I keep on walking. It’s cold because my shirt is not a proper shirt. I’m skinny. I’m six years old now. I’m still walking." (Client is back to the first scene that she saw in the regression)

Next scene:
"I’m back to the same street. I can see daylight already. There are a lot of working people on the street. It’s a modern town. No one is looking at me. I keep on walking. I’m begging money in the streets. I just say, “Give me money” and gestured with my hand. I didn't get food but I got used to it."
